Yancey Bros. Co. and our business partners, Caterpillar and Blue Bird Bus, have a significant investment in the manufacturing and supply side of the businesses we serve. As a group, we are all proud to design, build and service products used daily by hundreds of thousands of customers across Georgia.
Between all Yancey divisions, we currently operate 37 facilities located in 21 Georgia cities to serve our broad and varied customer base. We currently operate 14 Machine/Cat Rental Store locations, 6 Power Systems locations, 6 Yancey Bus Center locations and 2 Used & Surplus locations. Although some of our smaller facilities may host operations from more than a single division, these stores have dedicated and fully-trained parts and service representatives ready to serve our customers' needs.
Caterpillar Inc. has 6 facilities located in Georgia; Athens (Cat Building Construction Products), Griffin (Cat engines), Griffin (Perkins engines), LaGrange (Cat Forest Products), Alpharetta (Cat Power generator components) and Atlanta (Cat parts distribution).
Blue Bird Bus calls the city of Fort Valley home for their world-wide corporate offices and manufacturing facilities. In fact, Blue Bird has been based in Fort Valley since building their first dedicated bus facility in 1935, and they now ship school buses to more than 60 countries around the world from their Peach County facilities.
Yancey Engineered Solutions, a division of Yancey Bros. Co., designs and manufactures custom sound-attenuated enclosures for electric power gensets. These enclosures are designed on-site, built by skilled craftsmen and tested all in our facility located in Griffin. The enclosures are then delivered to end-users across the world.
Yancey, Caterpillar and Blue Bird all boast that our products are "Proudly Built in Georgia" because of our belief in the Georgia work force who stands behind the machines, engines and buses we build. We believe in our employees, our customers and the business climate of Georgia, and we look forward to the bright future ahead for all of us.
